Enrichment Explorers
Enrichment Explorers is our whole-school Friday afternoon enrichment offer designed to take learning beyond the classroom and off the timetable. Pupils across the school come together to explore enrichment through movement, nature and music, helping to build confidence, creativity and a sense of curiosity.
Each class rotates through five different pathways throughout the year and will access each activity for a six-week block. For the 2026/2027 academic year, children will have the following sessions:
-
Forest School: Hands-on outdoor learning led by our qualified forest school practitioner on our school grounds.
-
Music Appreciation & Instrumental Learning: Broadening their musical horizons, exploring rhythm and learning to play an instrument together.
-
Gymnastics: Developing physical literacy, core strength, balance, and spatial awareness.
-
Farming for Schools: A practical agricultural unit featuring two live farm visits alongside hands-on time tending to our own school vegetable garden.
-
Junior Duke: A structured life-skills program where children tackle real-world challenges designed to build independence, resilience, and confidence.
