Payment of School Dinner Money
School meals are booked and paid for each day via ParentPay. Please enquire at the school office for more information. We cannot provide your child with a meal unless the meal has been booked, and payment made for KS2 pupils, in advance or by 8:30am on the day your child requires a meal. For any queries regarding payment of dinner money, in the first instance, please speak to Rachel Bryant, School Business Manager.
School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme
At Netherfield, we sign up to the school fruit and vegetable scheme. The scheme covers all four to six year old children in maintained schools. It entitles these children to a free piece of fresh fruit or vegetable every school day.
The scheme aims to encourage children to eat more fruit and vegetables and contribute to a reduction in the risk of heart disease and cancer in later life. The scheme is run by the Department of Health, and any CSA-maintained school can choose to take part.
In Key Stage 2, fruit may be purchased so that children can continue to be involved with the scheme. Please enquire at the School Office.
