Welcome to our last week before the half term break! I hope you are all doing well. It has been a very long term - let's hope for some light at the end of the tunnel early next term! I have loved receiving your photos and videos, either via email or on Class Dojo, and I can't wait to get some more this week. Here are your lessons:

Safer Internet Day - Tuesday 9th February 2021

This Tuesday, it is Safer Internet Day. In the past, we have used Safer Internet Day to highlight how we can ensure the internet is a resource that is used safely, securely, and with minimal risks.

UK Safer Internet Centre - On this page, you will find a range of resources to do with your children to highlight the importance of Safer Internet Day in our online world.

In addition to this, I have set you some 2Dos on PurpleMash connected to online safety. If you have forgotten your password, email me or message me on Class Dojo and I can send it to you! If you have any questions about the PurpleMash activities, let me know!

Religious Education

This week, we will continue to look at the Christian Story of Creation.

Watch the story on You Tube and/or read it in the Bible. You will find the story in the book of Genesis, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2, verses 1-17. You could also read it HERE.

Then, represent the story in your own way. You might...

  • Create a cartoon strip
  • Re-write the story in your own words
  • Draw or paint a scene from the story
  • Create a shoebox diorama of an important part of the story
  • Make some puppets and ask an adult to film a puppet show of the story that you narrate
  • Come up with your own idea!

Keeping Active

Whilst you are away from school, keep fit and active by undertaking some of these challenges. Send me information on your performance! You can also log in to Fitter Future and complete the suggested Daily Timetable - one workout each day - or choose any from their extensive list of workouts. You will need your username and password to access Fitter Future. If you don't remember it, you can email me and I will send it to you.
