Welcome back! I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing half term and that you are all doing well. It has been a very long term - we're all hoping for some good news soon! I have loved receiving your photos and videos, either via email or on Class Dojo, and I can't wait to get some more this week.

Remember, I post new chapters of our book, Varjak Paw, onto Class Dojo daily. I love hearing from you on there, including comments about what you think of the book.

Here are your lessons for this week:

This week, we will continue to look at the story of The Prodigal Son.

Watch the story on You Tube and/or read it in the Bible. You will find the story in the book of Luke, Chapter 15, verses 11-32. You could also read it HERE.

Then, represent the story in your own way. You might...

  • Create a cartoon strip
  • Re-write the story in your own words
  • Draw or paint a scene from the story
  • Create a shoebox diorama of an important part of the story
  • Make some puppets and ask an adult to film a puppet show of the story that you narrate
  • Come up with your own idea!
