Welcome back to our last Learning Projects page! I can't wait to welcome you all back to Topaz on the 8th March - less than a week to go! I have loved receiving your photos and videos, either via email or on Class Dojo, and I can't wait to get some more in this last week.

Remember, I post new chapters of our book, Varjak Paw, onto Class Dojo daily. I love hearing from you on there, including comments about what you think of the book.

Here are your lessons for this week:

This week, we will continue to look at the story of The Prodigal Son.

Watch the story on You Tube and/or read it in the Bible. You will find the story in the book of Luke, Chapter 15, verses 11-32. You could also read it HERE.

Then, represent the story in your own way. You might...

  • Create a cartoon strip
  • Re-write the story in your own words
  • Draw or paint a scene from the story
  • Create a shoebox diorama of an important part of the story
  • Make some puppets and ask an adult to film a puppet show of the story that you narrate
  • Come up with your own idea!

Keeping Active

Whilst you are away from school, keep fit and active by undertaking some of these challenges. Send me information on your performance! You can also log in to Fitter Future and complete the suggested Daily Timetable - one workout each day - or choose any from their extensive list of workouts. You will need your username and password to access Fitter Future. If you don't remember it, you can email me and I will send it to you.
